How do you make money if there is no commission?+

Paid plans. When a business adds staff seats or a second location it moves to a flat monthly plan. Nothing is charged against a booking.

Will my listing appear in a client facing app?+

No. There is no consumer marketplace. Clients reach you through your own link.

Do I lose the discovery a marketplace gives me?+

Honestly, yes, if marketplace discovery is currently sending you real new clients. Many shops run a listing for discovery and their own link for regulars, so the fee only ever applies to genuinely new names.

Can I take card payments at booking?+

Not today. Payment collection is on the roadmap. Most customers charge in person or with their existing processor.

Do I own my customer data?+

Yes. Every booking creates a customer record in your workspace. Export any time. ZenSched does not resell or remarket to your clients.

Is ZenSched really free to try?+

Yes. The Free Beta plan gives you a full booking page, unlimited appointments and email reminders. No credit card to start.

How hard is it to switch from another booking system?+

There is no migration project. You add your services, hours and staff, then share the new link. Most owners run the old system until the last booked appointment passes, then stop renewing it.

Do you send SMS reminders?+

Not yet. Reminders go by email today. If SMS is a hard requirement for you, tell us — we ship based on what customers ask for.
