A barber appointment appthat fits the chair, not the office.
Take bookings from your phone, run each barber's book separately, and let clients pick a barber or Anyone. No marketplace listing your shop next to the one down the street.
No credit card. No per booking fees.
The essentials
What you actually get
- 01
Runs from your phone
The dashboard is a web app, so it opens on the phone in your apron pocket. Nothing to install, nothing to update between clients.
- 02
One book per barber
Each barber sets their own hours and service list. Clients pick a barber or Anyone available, and only real openings show up.
- 03
Cut times that are honest
Skin fade forty five, taper thirty, beard trim fifteen. Every service carries its own duration and buffer so the chair is never double sold.
- 04
Reminders without the phone calls
A confirmation the moment a client books and a reminder before the appointment. Both go out on a queue, so booking never waits on a send.
- 05
Drag to move a booking
A client texts to move from four to five. Drag the card, confirm, and the client gets the update. The change is written to the activity log.
- 06
Two clients, one slot, one winner
The booking endpoint is transactional and rate limited, so a slot cannot be taken twice when two people tap at the same second.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Is there a barber app I can use free?+
Yes. The Free Beta plan covers a full booking page, unlimited appointments and email reminders, with no card required. Paid plans add staff seats and multi location.
Can each barber have their own booking link?+
Each shop gets one booking page and clients pick the barber on it. If barbers want their own page (booth renters, for example), give each one their own store with its own Smart Slug, and group them under a single storefront home page.
Can each staff member have different working hours?+
Yes. Every staff member has their own hours and service list, and business hours support multiple windows a day so lunch breaks and split shifts are respected. Availability is calculated per person.
How do you prevent double bookings?+
The public booking endpoint is transactional and rate limited. It validates the full service duration against staff hours, existing appointments and capacity in a single call, so two clients hitting the same slot cannot both win.
Can I use ZenSched with my existing website?+
Yes. Every booking page has a standalone link at your Smart Slug on booking.zensched.app. Share it in an Instagram bio, on Google Business, in an email signature, or link to it from any site.
Can I take deposits or payments through the booking page?+
Not today. ZenSched focuses on the calendar and the booking experience. Payment collection is on the roadmap; for now most customers collect payment in person or through their existing processor.
Do you send SMS reminders?+
Not yet. Reminders go by email today. If SMS is a hard requirement for you, tell us — we ship based on what customers ask for.
